It all began with a record player and a question.
My love of the arts began when I was little. My mom would play classical music records on weekends while we cleaned the house. The thundering crescendos could be heard—and felt—over the roar of the vacuum. It was the first “arts experience” I remember.
Many years later, when working in marketing and PR agencies in Chicago and the midwest, I asked myself, How can I use my skills for good?
I’ve dedicated my career to helping cultural organizations — building brands and increasing support and revenue amidst a rapidly shifting landscape of consumer needs. As the longtime CMO of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, I grew audiences and revenue through bold strategy, collaborative execution, and an obsession with audiences.

FUN FACTS
I was a Fulbright Specialist with the U.S. Department of State: In September 2024, I was deployed to Nepal to develop the brand strategy and mission/vision/values for Licchavi House, an arts and culture hub focused on ancient Himalayan wisdom.
I have a Master’s Degree in journalism and communication from UW-Madison: I know how to ask the right questions and leverage data.
I am invested in the study of human-centered design, rituals, and awe.
I am based in Cincinnati, rich with arts and outdoor spaces. When I’m not working, I’m often found in nature.
